The skills of ornithology, the study of birds, can provide a variety of benefits and qualities to those who possess them. Some of these qualities include:

Standard Level

Standard Test - Base Ornithology

  • Description: Explorers must demonstrate their ability to recognize 15 types of birds from the Fauna that exists in the Municipality of Rincón de la Victoria and/or province of Málaga.


These are: Sparrow, Goldfinch, Hoopoe, Tit, Blackbird, Buzzard, Owl, Eagle Owl, White Wagtail, Blue Tit, Kingfisher, Common Swift, European Robin, Yellow-legged Gull, Common Bee-eater

Errors are not allowed. Maximum exposed time to discover these species, 5 minutes.


Intermediate Level Knots

(Orange Badge)

  • Intermediate Test - Recognition of songs of the 15 species exhibited in the yellow badge test


Advanced Level Knots

(Green Badge)

Advanced Test - Recognition of songs and photographs of 30 exhibited species. Maximum errors, 2.



THE ORNITHOLOGY TEST

In each call, you can request the Standard level ornithology test (Yellow)

Request the Test

Comuonly to the Director or your monitor, that you wish to take the test

Test time

The director will tell you what time you can do the knot test. This is done in the promise circular

1 Possibility every Saturday

You only have one chance each Saturday. Be sure you have mastered the technique at the time of the test

Time

You have 5 minutes of time. If you do not achieve it in the scheduled time or you have made a mistake, you can choose to do it next Saturday, with a penalty of 1 minute for each test repetition.
