Restoration of natural spaces

  • In addition to cleaning, we have participated in initiatives to restore natural spaces, such as planting trees and eliminating invasive species. In this way, the conservation and recovery of damaged ecosystems is encouraged.

Other actions with positive impact on the environment

  • Installation of nest boxes and boxes for geckos: different types of nest boxes have been installed in natural spaces to encourage the reproduction of birds and other animals that use these structures to nest and protect themselves from the weather and predators. Likewise, boxes have been installed for geckos, animals that help control the insect population in the environment.
  • Rescue and rehabilitation of injured wild animals: Our candidacy has launched a rescue and rehabilitation service for injured wild animals, in collaboration with entities specialized in the protection and conservation of fauna. This initiative seeks to protect and care for the biodiversity of the region, as well as raise awareness among the population about the importance of preserving the native fauna.
  • Creation of insect hotels: We have manufactured, created and installed structures in natural spaces that serve as refuge for different species of insects, such as bees, butterflies and beetles. These animals are important for pollination and pest control, so their protection and conservation is essential for ecological balance.
  • Environmental awareness campaigns: in addition to concrete actions, your candidacy has carried out environmental awareness campaigns to raise awareness among the population about the importance of protecting the environment and adopting more sustainable habits. Through different initiatives, such as talks, workshops and public events, we have sought to promote values of respect, solidarity and collaboration in the local community.

Social implications

During our candidacy, we have not only focused on initiatives to protect the environment, but we have also carried out activities to promote equity, empowerment and work with children at risk of social exclusion. Some of these activities are:

  • Empowerment: Workshops have been held to promote the empowerment of girls in the community, with the aim of strengthening their self-esteem and self-confidence.
  • Social inclusion: Activities have been carried out to promote social inclusion and prevent the exclusion of children and young people in vulnerable situations, such as training workshops, sports and cultural activities, and camps.
  • Volunteer programs:
  • Volunteer programs have been developed in collaboration with local organizations, with the aim of providing opportunities for participation and personal development to young people in the community.
  • During our candidacy, we have also carried out a campaign to raise awareness about the risks that video games can have on children, such as addiction to video games and a sedentary lifestyle. With this campaign, we have sought to promote a responsible and balanced use of new technologies, and we have worked to promote healthier and more educational alternative activities for children. In addition, workshops and activities have been held to promote the creativity and cognitive development of children, and we have worked especially with children at risk of social exclusion to offer them an attractive and enriching alternative to the machines. The problem of school absenteeism has also been addressed and activities and programs have been developed to prevent school dropouts and promote education as a tool for change and personal development. With these initiatives, we seek not only to contribute to the well-being of children, but also to promote a more just, equitable and sustainable society.
